Melissa is a board certified nurse practitioner and received her Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She was awarded Outstanding RN Studies Student, RN-MS program. She was a member of the University of Michigan’s Golden Key Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and is currently a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners. Melissa enjoys gardening, traveling, and competing in triathlon events in her "down" time.
Melissa joined MMP in 2008 working in our Internal Medicine Associates division, providing long-term care services at Brookdale Senior Living, Clair Bridge & Wynwood of Meridian, Court of Holt, and Eaton County Medical Care Facility. On January 3, 2011 Melissa joined the Lansing Nephrology Divison of MMP, where she will be working with Dr. Benu Kaw in providing care to Mid-Michigan patients in the nephrology setting.
