Biography

Dr. Handro was Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2005. He attended medical school at Jimma University in Ethiopia. He finished his M.P.H. (Master of Public Health) in Epidemiology at Tulane University in Louisiana. Dr. Handro completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Handro is married to Amy, an R.N. at Sparrow Hospital.
