Biography

Christy has been a registered nurse since 1997. She has worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas in breast cancer radiation oncology, Ingham Regional critical care units, and spent many years working as an RN in the long-term care setting. Christy has worked as an adult nurse practitioner since 2004 with a focus on chronic illness and health promotion, disease prevention. Currently, Christy teaches at the University of Michigan nursing program part-time.

Christy is married with two children – Ella and Grace. She has 1 cat who is 13 years old (very grouchy). In her time off, Christy enjoys gardening, scrapbooking and reading.
