Dr. Ropp completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Nebraska and received the degree of Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at Michigan State University-associated hospitals, and received his American Board of Internal Medicine Certification in 1996. Dr. Ropp has worked as a hospitalist for several years, first at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing, then in Albuquerque, New Mexico before joining MMP in August 2000. He has an office-based practice with MMP, but also sees patients regularly in Burcham Hills Retirement Center and TenderCare West. Currently, he is the Medical Director at TenderCare West and Chief of Medicine at Sparrow Hospital.
