Biography
Dr. Babar Ahmad received his medical degree from the Nishtar Medical College, Pakistan, in 1981. After practicing medicine for twelve years, between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, Dr. Ahmad came to the U.S. He completed his internship at the Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA (1993-’94), a Residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI (1994-’95), and received his American Board of Internal Medicine Certification in 1996. He received his re-certification, Internal Medicine, in 2008.
Prior to joining MMP, Dr. Ahmad was an Internist with the Blue Care Network Family Health Center for over twelve years. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Association of Pakistan Physicians of North America.
Dr. Ahmad is married and has three children. He enjoys playing tennis and photography.
