Celina received her Bachelors of Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, MI. She then went on to obtain her Master of Physician Assistant Studies through Grand Valley. Celina is a Certified Physician Assistant and a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA).
While completing her B.S. studies, Celina worked as a CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant). This experience helped her to realize her calling in life: Medicine. She loves the constantly changing and evolving field of Oncology and all of the challenges that come with it. Celina is passionate about helping her patients through their journey with cancer and being a support to them for all of their needs: Medically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Celina joined Dr. Dan Williams, Dr. Tallat Mahmood, Dr, Shalini Thoutreddy, and Eman Issawi, PA-C in the Center for Cancer Care & Blood Disorders division of MMP spring of 2011.
