Biography

Dr. Carella is a board certified Endocrinologist who specializes in thyroid disorders, metabolic problems, bone diseases and other hormonal disorders. He received his medical degree at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and completed his internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and a member of the International Congress of Endocrinology and the American Diabetes Association. He is also the medical director of the Regional Diabetes Center in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Carella is married with three daughters and enjoys running, sports and gardening.
