Karen Bowman is a nurse practitioner and certified diabetes educator who specializes in diabetes. She provides care for people with diabetes who are 18 years or older. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Northern Michigan University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University. Karen has been practicing since 1983. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association. She also serves on many committees including the Nurses Advisory Board of Novonordisk. Karen has been with MMP since 1998. Prior to working for MMP, she was with the College of Medicine at Michigan State University.
